What are good study skills to use for AP classes?
I'm a Junior in High school. I'm currently doing AP Biology & AP English 3 summer homework. This is my first time taking an AP class & I'm REALLY worried. How can I stay on top of my AP classes as well as my regular classes? I know that Junior year is really the MOST important year in high school and I cannot screw this up. My freshman year I had a 3.8 first semester and a 4.0 second semester. My sophomore year I had a 3.3 first semester I really screwed up and my second semester I got a 3.8. I want to have at least a GPA of 3.8 in both semesters of Junior year but I don't know how I can maintain good grades in all 8 classes including the 2 AP classes.

I'm a freshman in high school and honestly, I don't get good grades. I don't fail, but I get a mix of Cs and Bs. I want to get B s A s.But there is a problem. I'm not good on staying on track with my studies. When I'm usually supposed to be typing out an essay or studying for a test I find myself playing Xbox, going on Facebook, and talking on the phone. And whenever I am studying, I find it hard to keep on track AND understand what I'm reading. Is there ANYTHING I can do to help myself?

How can I improve my studying skills? An effective way to learn more? Any tips?
I want to study more effectively. I study repeating and writing definitions down, saying them, reviewing my notes. But I have noticed that I am forgetting what I read and constantly looking back at my previous notes to review them which is making it hard to move on to another section. It takes many repetitions to really memorize it and it wasn't this hard for me before. I would usually just sit in class and listen, and I wouldn't have to study... So any tips on how to improve my studying skills?
Study skills for high school?
I am going into High School this year and I am really worried about my grades. The first year I went into middle school i went from A B average to C D average, now keep in mind I was taking all advanced, theres advanced honors comp but in 7th I managed to bring my grades back up , in 8th I started out the year with straight a's and ended with one d, two cs, two bs, and an a. I was really shook up though because my friend in class had passed away a few weeks before that. But I want to start out the school year with good grades B's & up and I need good study skills. Im planning on getting all the right tools like a planner & stuff to help , but idn im sort of a procastinator, any tips?
